2. Understand the time you have:  With 100 questions and 100 marks to answer, you are given only 60 minutes. With this, you can calculate that you get just 36 seconds to answer each question. So answer those questions you are confident about. Leave the remaining and take up at the end. Do not spend time in choosing the questions. Just read them and if you know answer else skip it. You can allow time for each section by yourself during preparation. By doing so you will know which section to start within the actual examination. Keep in mind that wrong answers gain negative marks, so be careful and don’t guess the answers.
3. Know the previous year cut offs: While you are preparing for the exams, understand the previous year cut off marks. Go through the results and estimate how much you should score to be in the cut off range. Prepare with the cut off marks in mind and also while answering make sure you have the cutoff score in mind.

Never experiment in the actual exam. Every question is a score for you and makes sure you chose it wisely. Irrespective of whether you solve a complicated question or an easy one, the marks you get is going to be the same. So it is wise to do the easy ones first and if time permits, you may show your talent in answering the tricky ones. If you cannot, you are always good to drop such questions.
